Bar Method Charlotte-SouthPark Success Story: LauraClient since August 2015 - Attends class 3-4 times a week
I’ve been fairly active throughout most of my life. I grew up dancing, and once I graduated college, I had to look for a different outlet for fitness. I tried pretty much every type of exercise class out there! It really wasn’t until Bar Method that I was able to find a workout that I could get into a regular routine with. The exercises are low impact with tons of guidance on proper form from the instructors, something my body has appreciated! And it has definitely prevented me from getting burnt out on the workout like other classes I’ve tried. The mind-body connection that we focus on during each class reminds me to be present in the moment and lets me forget about any stress from my day. And the environment at Bar Method definitely sets it apart from other studios and gyms that I’ve tried — the staff are so friendly and supportive, and really make the experience enjoyable every day, even if my legs are shaking uncontrollably!
In addition, I’ve noticed a remarkable difference in my fitness level. Friends and family have also commented that my physique has changed for the better, which is one of the most rewarding things about Bar Method. No matter what type of workout I tried in the past, I was never able to gain the flatter stomach and longer, toned muscles that I’ve been able to achieve through Bar Method. I’ve definitely built strength and regained flexibility over time, and those small improvements I see day to day are what motivate me to keep coming back!
